In a word, the Monte Cristo White Churchill can be described as “creamy.” It’s no wonder why these are the cigars most used for weddings. The smoke is very mild and soft, and only has a very subtle cigar flavor. It is easy to see how it would be appropriate for non-cigar smokers. There is hardly any bite or spice and it leaves no aftertaste.
I guess it gets its mild taste from the wrapper. It is grown in Ecuador from Connecticut shade leaf seed. It has a Nicaraguan binder and both Dominican and Nicaraguan long fillers. All of these tobaccos seem to work together to give a complex taste, but it is very faint.
This stick was nicely rolled, not to tight and not to loose. The end didn’t split when I punched it and it felt good between my fingers. It also burned very evenly, and stayed lit. This stick took me about 2 hours to enjoy.
